Whenever demand meets desperation, there are scammers out there ready to take advantage of the vulnerable. Like the “get rich quick” scams that increase during a recession with high unemployment, scholarship scams specifically target students who want to go to college and need the money to pay for it. Please read the article thoroughly and at the end of the day, trust your gut and never make a decision out of desperation because that is when you are usually the most vulnerable.
